ART CODE THEATRE

Art Code Theatre is an international theater in the Netherlands bringing together actors from different countries of the world.

We create performances for children and adults in Russian and English, combining contemporary theater, multimedia and live acting.

At the heart of Art Code is the idea of the cultural code. Each of us arrives with our own story, language, traditions and experience. We preserve this important part of ourselves and bring different cultures together in one creative space.

We are more than a theater.

Today Art Code is gradually becoming a true creative and cultural hub — a space where theater is just one of the forms of connection, exploration and creativity.

We have our own studio, programs in acting therapy, speech and vocal work, creative practices and unique art events unlike familiar gatherings.

We create a space for those who want to discover themselves, try new things, meet people and spend time differently — deeper, brighter and more meaningfully.

How it all began

I am Anastasia Pavlina — theater and film actress, singer, director, and a guide into the world of art and creativity. For many years I worked in theater and film, and after moving to the Netherlands I received an education in psychology.

For me, theater and psychology speak about the same thing — the human being — just in different languages. Art is a way to discover yourself, feel more deeply and become closer to one another.

After moving, I wanted to gather talented, like-minded people around me and create a space where you can preserve your cultural code while creating something new. That is how Art Code was born: first one performance, then another — and step by step the theater grew into a creative community.

Today, in everything we do, I bring together my experience in theater, music and psychology — with one goal: to help people know themselves and the world around them better through art.
