About the Theater

The story of Art Code — the theater Anastasiia Pavlina built in Amsterdam.

Anastasiia Pavlina is a conservatory-trained opera singer and actress — more than 30 productions and 17 leading roles since her stage debut in 2008. When she moved to the Netherlands, she missed the stage she had grown up on: a place where Russian-speaking artists could create freely, in their own language and beyond it.

So she built one. Art Code is the theater and studio Anastasiia founded in Amsterdam — an independent company that unites classical art with modern technologies, from intimate solo performances to interactive multimedia shows for children, and studio events that take theater practice beyond the stage.

Today Art Code is a company of actors, directors and musicians — and the heart of everything Anastasiia does as a performer, teacher and coach.
